The partnership between guitarist Martin Harley and bassist Daniel Kimbro, which began its discographic adventure in 2015 with the live album “Live At Southern Ground”, is back in 2017 with a new record entitled “Static In The Wires”.
Eleven tracks penned by Harley in in which the two musicians (accompanied by drummer Derek Mixon and, occasionally, by guitarist Jerry Douglas and pianist Micah Hulscher) prove their passion for the blues and the “Americana” genre.
Harley’s lap steel guitar and Kimbro’s bass give birth to enthralling atmospheres, on top of which Harley’s vocals are free to weave precious decorations.
An intringuing album, played with passion and expertise.
