Produced by Colin Linden, “Oklahoma” is the 2019 discographic release by Kevin Moore (aka Keb’ Mo’) and features ten tracks where the blues (still the Californian singer and guitarist’s main influence) seamlessly blend with sounds and atmospheres from soul music.
The result is a truly pleasant and extremely well played record: Keb’ Mo’ is accompanied by Linden himself, plus well-known guests such as his wife Robbie Brooks Moore (in the delicate acoustic closing track “Beautiful Music”), Rosanne Cash, Robert Randolph, his friend Taj Mahal and Dara Tucker (who also co-wrote the title track).
