As was the case with the previous "Walk Through Fire" (released in February 2019), Yola's 2021 record "Stand For Myself" is produced by Dan Auerbach, who is also present as a songwriter, guitarist, percussionist and in the chorus.
The English singer shows her powerful and pliant voice in all twelve songs on the record, tackling soul, rhythm&blues and country themes from time to time.
