Formed in late 2015 in the French city of Pau (capital of the Pyrenees-Atlantiques department), the band The Supersoul Brothers has elected soul music (as, moreover, its chosen name clearly states) as the reference point of its artistic mission.
"By The Way" is the third album released on the distinguished Dixiefrog Records label, thus going on to feed a luminous catalog consisting of works by artists such as Amar Sundy, Jimmy Thackery, Sue Foley, Eric Ter, Mighty Mo Rodgers, Big Daddy Wilson, Eric Bibb and others.
The twelve tracks on "By The Way" are masterfully performed with an infectious passion for soul (with, here and there, invigorating injections of funk) by seven musicians supported further, on some tracks, by a wriggling horn section.
