"The Human Fear" is the sixth album by the Scottish band Franz Ferdinand and is the first studio recording with drummer Audrey Tait (formerly in the ranks of Hector Bizerk and Broken Chanter) replacing Paul Thomson as of 2021.
Produced by Mark Ralph, the album is a concentrate of freshness and energy that features eleven tracks in which lineup leader Alexander Paul "Alex" Kapranos (vocals and guitar) can unleash his volcanic compositional creativity and exuberant interpretive attitude.
