Nothing but Jason Isbell: his voice and acoustic guitar recorded without the usual backing of his band, The 400 Unit. "Foxes In The Snow" was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York, produced by Isbell himself together with Gena Johnson (also responsible for engineering and mixing, who has previously worked with Metallica, John Prine, Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, Dave Cobb, and many others) and took only five days to complete.
