Led by Annie Caldwell (vocals) and her husband Willie Joe Caldwell Sr. (guitar) and supported by their five children, Annie & The Caldwells (whose name leaves no doubt about the "family" composition of the band) is a solid group dedicated to gospel and soul music.
Very famous in the state of Mississippi (they formed in West Point, the county seat of Clay County and about 150 miles from Jackson, the state capital), in 2025 Annie & The Caldwells decided to transfer their communicative power to the album "Can't Lose My (Soul)". Only six tracks, but each one is a concentration of explosive soul, with moments of cathartic expression of their artistic and religious beliefs.
