"Ain't Got Time To Die" is the debut solo album by Solomon Cole, former frontman of the New Zealand-based band of the same name. Released on his own label Hoop-LA Records and distributed in Europe by France's DixieFrog, "Ain't Got Time To Die" reflects the wild beauty and melancholic mood of Waiheke Island, where the singer, songwriter, and guitarist resides, but also offers gothic atmospheres typical of the southern United States, gospel fervor, and cinematic influences.
The album was recorded in various studios and locations and mixed by Eddie Rayner, former keyboardist for Split Enz, Crowded House, and collaborator with Orb, Space Waltz, and others.
