Seven years on from his last one (the excellent “Standing In The Breach”, launched in October 2014) and preceded by the EP (May 2020) containing the two tracks “Downhill From Everywhere” and “A Little Soon To Say”, July 2021 saw the launch of Jackson Browne’s new album “Downhill From Everywhere”.
Responsible for some of the most engaging albums in the American singer-songwriting panorama, Jackson Browne brings together ten tracks that are the ideal soundtrack for long car journeys. Sunny melodies, powerful lyrics and quality contributions by successful musicians make “Downhill From Everywhere” further proof that even the “old singer-songwriters” (Browne was born in 1948) still have some pretty incredible arrows in their quiver.
Jackson Browne is accompanied (also in the production of the album) by, among others, top notch guitarist Greg Leisz, bass player Bob Glaub, Russ Kunkel on the drums, Val McCallum on the guitar and, in the moving piece “A Human Touch”, Leslie Mendelson at vocals (who also composed the track with Browne and Steve McEwan).
