The Canadian singer Harrison Kennedy, an expert in soul music, guitarist, composer and former member of the Detroit band, The Chairmen Of The Board, has successfully embraced blues music. Without, however, forgetting his passion for soul. As the recent (it was published in August of this year) "Thanks For Tomorrow" demonstrates: twelve tracks all composed by the owner of the work except "Crazy Love", signed by Van Morrison and here reinterpreted with high-class by a particularly inspired Kennedy. Alongside Harrison Kennedy (as highlighted on the album cover) is Ruthie Foster on vocals in the first, intriguing song, "All I Need Is You", and Colin Linden on guitar in numerous songs. Without forgetting the contribution of the member of the Canadian band The Sheepdogs Jimmy Bowskill on the mandolin in the aforementioned "Crazy Love" and on guitar in the lively "Doomed".
