A former member of celebrated bands such as The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Hillmen, Manassas, Desert Rose Band and, above all, The Byrds, in 2017 Chris Hillman released his solo album “Bidin’ My Time”.
Produced by Tom Petty (who was an admirer of The Byrds and passed away on October 2nd 2017), the CD also involves two former Byrds members, David Crosby and Roger McGuinn.
“Bidin’ My Time” closes with a reinterpretation of the Tom Petty track entitled “Wildflowers”, taken from the self-titled 1994 album by the Gainesville (Florida, USA)-born artist.
