Already an activist in the ranks of Steve Miller's band dated from the end of the 60's and owner of numerous independent albums characterized by fluctuating commercial fortune and intermittent qualitative levels, in 2013 Boz Scaggs records one of his best discographic works.
“Memphis” is a collection of other people's songs and of compositions signed by Scaggs that present smooth tones performed with first-class style.
The owner is flanked by musicians of the likes of, for example Charlie Musselwhite, Keb' Mo, Steve Jordan, Rick Vito, Spooner Oldham.
