Born and grown, from a musical point of view, in the realm of refined - if not outstanding - songwriting, Nathaniel Rateliff now surprises the world of music critics with his fourth album, entitled Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
Accompanied by a fierce band (The Night Sweats), Rateliff erases his earlier folk music references and offers eleven tracks (all of which penned by the songwriter himself) of high-potential soul music: a fully convincing blend of incandescent rhythms, a prodigious voice and excellently structured compositions.
The CD is produced and mixed by multi-instrumentalist Richard Swift, who also offered his services as sound engineer and as an actual member of The Night Sweats.
