After the glorified membership in Grateful Dead’s band (at the “Fare Thee Well” event) and after three years from the CD “Traveler”, the guitar player/composer/singer Trey Anastasio comes back in the music market with his work “Paper Wheels”.
It contains twelve compositions created by the artist (alone, with Tom Marshall or Steve Pollak) in which you can breathe the musical atmospheres of Anastasio’s primary training (the Phish jam band) with some typical psychedelic signs of Grateful Dead.
Some songs taken from “Paper Wheels” have been performed in preview during some concerts of the musician borned in Fort Worth (Texas, U.S.A.), while others will be performed in next live shows.
The disc is produced by Bryce Goggin (former contributor of Anastasio and Phish) and by Trey Anastasio.
