One of the most acclaimed and beloved bands of the United States, Phish once more meet their fans’ expectations with their variegated 2016 CD. “Big Boat” delivers more of Trey Anastasio’s band’s “classic” ingredients: clean and linear rock, tracks built with a view to extend them to noteworthy durations during live shows, instrumental parts studied down to the smallest detail.
“Petrichor” (which lasts no less than 13’ 33”), the closing track on “Big Boat”, is a significant and brilliant example of Phish’s fiery creativity.
