American musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd (born in 1977, from Shreveport, Louisiana) has been active since the age of 18 and has always nourished himself on blues music filled with powerful injections of rock.
“The Traveler”, released in 2019, is evidence of Shepherd’s love of the blues, without forgetting a stronger and sometimes granitic stave.
Noteworthy on the CD is the reinterpretation of the piece by Neil Young, part of the repertoire of the rock band named Buffalo Springfield, entitled “Mr. Soul”.
