RONNIE EARL AND THE BROADCASTERS
Beyond The Blue Door (2019)
Ronnie Earl proceeds, unstoppable, to make mature albums of solar, invigorating blues. Still with his band, The Broadcasters, the American guitarist adds the excellent “Beyond The Blue Door” to his extensive discography.
Released in August 2019, the CD can boast (in addition to those by Earl) valuable participation by Diane Blue on vocals, Dave Limina on the piano and the Hammond B3, as well as guest artists like Duke Robillard, Kim Wilson, Greg Piccolo and others.
Worthy of note is the insertion of the songs “It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry” by Bob Dylan and the hypnotic “Why Can't We Live Together” by Timmy Thomas (also released in the past by Steve Winwood, Joan Osborne and Sade).
