The son of the famous blues guitarist Luther Allison (who died in 1997), Bernard Allison followed in his father's footsteps by also becoming a blues guitarist, making his debut in 1990 with the album "The Next Generation".
High & Lows offers blues with invigorating injections of funk, a few rank guests (Colin James and Bobby Rush) and a new interpretation of a couple of Dad Luther's songs ("Now You Got It" and "I Gave It All").
