One of the freshest and most smiling albums released in 2023 is Hamish Hawk's "Angel Numbers". In twelve songs, the Scottish singer-songwriter manages to clearly expound his simple writing without ever being trite. A limpid compositional vein that particularly distinguishes the opening "Once Upon An Acid Glance" (in the scent of the eighties), "Bill" (with its catchy refrain) and, above all, the irresistible and very pleasant "Bridget St.John".
