Everything Now (2023)
A Canadian from Ottawa, JW-Jones began his musical career playing drums. He switched to harnessing the electric guitar when he began attending Ridgemont High School in his hometown and won, in 1998 at the age of eighteen, the coveted "Battle of the bands".
The music critics' rave reviews of his vision and interpretation of blues music are amply validated by the eleven sparkling tracks on the 2023 album "Everything Now", produced by Gordie Johnson, also a Canadian and a member of such lineups as Big Sugar and Gravy as well as a collaborator with Gov't Mule, Warren Haynes, Chris Duarte, Colin James, Taj Mahal, etc.
