The U.S. singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist originally from Vernon (Sussex County, State of New Jersey) has attracted public applause and solicited very positive reviews from the music press with her 2021 album "On My Way" and by participating in live shows in the company of Will Jacobs and Ghalia Volt and documented by the "Blues Caravan 2022" album.
The 2024 project "Get Goin'" could represent the album of Katie Henry's final consecration as a shining star of contemporary blues. Released (like its predecessor "On My Way") by the German record label Ruf, which specializes in intoxicating blues rock products, "Get Goin'" features guitarist Bernard Allison as producer and author of the tracks "Clear Vision" and the instrumental "Bayou Boogie" and co-author with Henry of "Get Goin' Get Gone" and the irresistible "Trying".
