Created and managed by Bronx-born, Puerto Rican-born singer and songwriter Alynda Segarra and with no permanent staff, the band Hurray For The Riff Raff is one of the highest-rated representatives of the musical genre called "Americana".
"The Past Is Still Alive" is released in February 2024, and its ten songs (all composed by Alynda Segarra) are judged by most music critics to be the best of those submitted since Hurray For The Riff Raff's inception (which occurred in 2007 in New Orleans).
