Preceded by the singles (and related promotional videos) "Tattoos", "Old Radio" and "Someone To Dance With", Robby Hecht's new album "Not A Number" was released in April 2024.
The author of songs performed by (among others) Meghan Linsey, Jennifer Knapp, Nora Jane Struthers, Liz Longley, The Steel Wheels, Amy Speace, and the owner of a handful of fine record works, U.S. musician Robby Hecht relies on producer (as well as songwriter and guitarist) Anthony da Costa, who is also involved in much of the album's arrangements and instrumentation.
"Not A Number" describes with intensity and soft strokes of refined folk the themes of divorce, emotional recovery, nostalgia, the unity of humanity, and the deep meaning of individual life experiences.
In the making of "Not A Number", Robby Hecht also enlisted the singing support of guests Caroline Spence, Jess Nolan, Jill Andrews, Katie Pruitt, Lydia Luce, The Sea The Sea, Ruth Moody, and Trousdale.
