Son of the late Gregg Allman (who passed away on May 27, 2017), singer, guitarist and songwriter Devon Allman also pursued a career as a musician. In addition to founding his own band named Honeytribe, being a member of the supergroup Royal Southern Brotherhood, participating in the recording of albums by his fellow musicians such as Vargas Blues Band, and being a founder (along with Duane Betts, son of guitarist Dickey who passed away in April 2024) of the Allman Betts Band, Devon Allman has a handful of solo records to his credit. The one released in August 2024 titled "Miami Moon" is produced by Allman himself along with prestigious producer Thomas Jay "Tom" Hambridge (formerly alongside Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, Mike Zito, Quinn Sullivan and others), who is also present on drums on some of the tracks on "Miami Moon" along with other prestigious musicians such as George Porter Jr. (on bass) and Ivan Neville (on keyboards).
