Self-produced, self-released, and funded with the help of his fans, James Maddock’s new album "Forever June" was recorded in Asbury Park at the studio of producer and longtime friend Steve Greenwell. In the words of the British singer-songwriter—who now lives in the United States—it contains "rather personal and introspective songs, songs about grief and trying to cope with life’s ups and downs", though there’s no shortage of "rock tracks and fun songs that make you tap your foot" and a composition inspired by Bradley Beach (Monmouth County, State of New Jersey), where Maddock currently lives.
"Forever June" (which also includes the two singles released digitally late last year, namely "Wish You Were Here" and "Take My Side") features contributions from excellent musicians such as bassist Byron House, Spin Doctors drummer Aaron Comess, and keyboardist (another old friend of Maddock’s) James Hallawell.
