LANCO

Following the chance meeting that took place at Keith Urban’s concert, the partnership between famed producer Jay Joyce (the same producer working with performers of the calibre of Eric Church, Cage The Elephant, Little Big Town and many others) and the singer, guitarist and composer Brandon Lancaster has been concretised in the production of the album “Hallelujah Nights”.
The album was both written and performed by the group LANCO, a name created from the first three letters of Lancaster (mentioned previously) and the first two of Company (a society founded to sell the band’s record products, tickets to their concerts, etc.).
“Hallelujah Nights” is the debut album of the American quintet, a logical sequel to a couple of EPs released as from 2013 (the year the group was established): a total of eleven tracks where country music encounters the fortifying embrace of rock music, the pleasurable smooth, mellow music of which makes listening to the entire 40 minute-album a tonifying experience.
In addition to Lancaster (the charismatic leader of the band), LANCO’s line-up consists of Chandler Baldwin (bass guitar), Jared Hampton (Hammond B-3, banjo, keyboard, mandolin), Tripp Howell (drums), Eric Steedly (electric guitar): all musicians originate from Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky.
Joyce, their producer, has also co-written some of the music, he has also performed together with the band, playing several instruments on many tracks and has supervised the recording of the album at the St. Charles Studio (a church in East Nashville that has been turned into an efficient recording studio).
