Bury Me In My Boots (2016)
Jaren Johnston (guitar and vocals), Kelby Ray Caldwell (lap steel/bass) and Neil Mason (drums) are the members of The Cadillac Three.
After going through a series of lineup revolutions and name changes (having formerly been known as Bang Bang Bang and Cadillac Black), in 2016 the three-piece band from Nashville (Tennessee, United States) recorded their first record for the label Big Machine Records. The album, entitled “Bury Me In My Boots”, is an explosive mix of country music and plentiful doses of “southern rock”.
Some of the fourteen tracks featured on the CD were recovered from the band’s recent past, while others were composed specifically for the album.
The relentless rhythmic section, sharp electric guitars and captivating vocals make “Bury Me In My Boots” a record tailored for listeners who enjoy “strong feelings”, a perfect introduction to the vitality unleashed by the trio during their live performances.
