After more than fifty years on the music scene (having played with many famous bands and well-known artists), Reese Wynans (born in Sarasota, Florida, United States) is releasing his first solo album in March 2019.
“Sweet Release” is an explosion of splendid blues and soul atmospheres created by Wynans’ keyboards and by a strong collection of prestigious guests: from guitarist Joe Bonamassa (who is also the producer of the album) to singer Jimmy Hall, from Keb’ Mo’ to Kenny Wayne Shepherd, from Doyle Bramhall II to Mick Farris, just to mention a few.
“Sweet Release” also features drummer Chris Layton and bassist Tommy Shannon, Wynans’ companions in Double Trouble, the backing band of Texan musician Stevie Ray Vaughan.
