As for his previous albums, the recent "Norm" (officially released on February 10th, 2023) was entirely composed, recorded, and played by the author, Andy Shauf, a Canadian from Regina (the capital of the Saskatchewan province, where he was born on June 21st, 1986).
Shauf delivers twelve tracks played with grace, sometimes almost whispered, capable of immersing the listener in a world characterised by soft colours and melancholic nuances. Throughout the entire album of just over 36 minutes, "Norm" is a continuous mix of clever folk and sophisticated pop, played with a careful (sometimes frantic) search for refined sounds.
