Turquoise (2013)
First solo album for Devon Allman.
After the experience with the formation Honeytribe and the worthy group Royal Southern Brotherhood (already SUPERrecommendedalbum of the rockpartyshow in 2012), Gregg Allman’s son publishes the CD “Turquoise” for Ruf Records.
The eleven tracks on the CD are composed by the owner (a couple with Mike Zito, member of Royal Southern Brotherhood) except for “Stop Draggin My Heart Around”, signed by Mike Cambell and Tom Petty.
The review of this piece presented on “Turquoise” includes the participation of singer Samantha Fish (her CD “Runaway” of 2011 has been also recommendedalbum of the rockpartyshow), in a strong duet with Devon Allman.
On the guitar and slide the musician Luther Dickinson participates in the opening piece “When I Left Home”.
