Run Home Slow (2019)
The Australian band, The Teskey Brothers, entered the record market in 2017, thanks to their debut album “Half Mile Harvest”. The love of soul music demonstrated in that album is further enhanced in the CD released in August 2019 “Run Home Slow”.
The Teskey brothers (Josh on lead vocals and rhythm guitar and Sam on lead guitar), Liam Gough (drums) and Brendon Love (bass) manage to create an exciting mixture of blues and soul in the eleven tracks on “Run Home Slow”, alternating ballads inspired by powerfully intense pieces.
Paul Butler, the producer of the work, is already a precious collaborator of St. Paul & The Broken Bones and Michael Kiwanuka.
