JONATHAN WILSON
Dixie Blur (2020)
The enlightened record producer, refined composer and sensitive guitarist Jonathan Wilson has always had a soft spot for themes from the 1970s West Coast (both musical and of other kinds).
Similarly to the North American (born in Forest City in Rutherford County, North Carolina) musician’s previous albums, “Dixie Blur”, published in March 2020, also feeds on staves tinged in “Americana”, country, bluegrass and above all suave and dreamful psychedelia.
“Dixie Blur” (produced by Wilson himself alongside multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone from the band Wilco) can boast the precious participation of violinist Mark O’Connor, best known for his collaborations with a variety of relevant artists (including James Taylor, Alison Krauss, Yo-Yo Ma).
