Behind his pen name Keb' Mo', Californian musician Kevin Moore greets 2022 with the excellent record work "Good To Be...".
As is, by now, tradition, the Los Angeles-based guitarist brings us songs of refined craftsmanship, created also with the support of some esteemed guests such as Darius Rucker (a fame gained as leader of the band Hootie & The Blowfish), Vince Gill, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, the Old Crow Medicine Show group, bass players Nathan East and Marcus Miller, and singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth.
With the exception of Bill Withers' "Lean On Me", the other twelve tracks on "Good To Be..." have been composed by Keb' Mo' alone or in collaboration with other musicians (Steve Dorff, John Lewis Parker to name just a couple).
"Good To Be..." offers 58 minutes of sheer pleasure, an unmissable occasion for anyone waiting for an expert mix of blues with seductive doses of soul, "americana" and folk.
