GREG KIHN BAND
Rekihndled (2017)
Many fans of authentic rock music were wondering what had become of Greg Kihn, one of the leading figures of Beserkley Records, a label responsible for issuing a series of solid rock records at the end of the 1970s and during the beginning of the 1980s.
Almost twenty years after his previous album, Greg Kihn and his band have now recorded “Rekihndled”, eleven tracks of pure, energetic, invigorating and no-frills rock.
Accompanied by his son Ry, Kihn is releasing an extremely pleasant record, featuring a lovely alternation of full-bodied tracks (such as the initial “The Life I Got” or the enjoyable “Big Pink Flamingos”) and highly inspired ballads (such as the final song, “A Place We Could Meet”).
We recommend listening to the album at a high volume.
