Active since 1986, the American band (from Virginia) The Silent Boys debuted in 2004 with the album "Beauty Tips" (containing the song curiously titled "Neil Young"). Owner of a handful of pleasant records, the line-up led by Wallace Dietz (vocals and rhythm guitar) and John Suchocki (lead guitar and keyboards) and currently completed by John Morand (drums and percussion) and Grant Oliver (bass) is signed by the French label (based in Brest, on the west coast of Brittany) Too Good To Be True. The graceful "Sand To Pearls, Coal To Diamonds", was released in early November 2022 under this label: nine tracks of immediate absorption. It is a balance between pleasant, graceful songwriter's music and contagious and refined pop.
