JOHN CRAIGIE
I Swam Here (2026)
With piano accompaniment by Sam Doores (The Deslondes), lap steel guitar by Johnny Campos, and backing vocals by Anna Moss (who also plays clarinet on the closing track "Don’t Let Me Run Away"), singer-songwriter John Craigie releases one of the most intimate and refined albums of his discography, which began in 2003 with the album "I Always -Ed You".
"I Swam Here" was recorded primarily in New Orleans (at Deslonde St. Studios), while the tracks "Fire Season" (produced by his longtime collaborator Bart Budwig, with Cooper Trail on drums and Nevada Sowle on bass), "Dry Land" and "Claws" were recorded at Rope Room Studios in Astoria, Oregon.
