Produced by Michael Buckley and Vincent Chiarito (who play saxophone and bass, respectively), Jalen Ngonda’s new album "Doctrine Of Love" (released in early June 2026) confirms the ability of this American musician—born in Wheaton, Maryland, but based in Great Britain—to blend contemporary sounds with the established traditions of soul and rhythm&blues. Having already earned acclaim from music critics for his 2023 debut album "Come Around And Love Me", Ngonda is likely to expand his fan base with these ten highly enjoyable tracks (most of which were co-written with the aforementioned Buckley and Chiarito).
